I have another wine for my readers looking for wines that are red and sweet. This one is sure to please and I can guarantee, you will be back to purchase more. Read below for my notes on it.
Stella Rosa is a light, semi- sweet Italian wine created by the Riboli family. It is a propriety blend of several grape varietals including Brachetto.
It is deep red in color and and semi- sparkling. On the nose are dark- berried fruit and on the palate, the dark berry fruit flavor lends itself to the lingering after taste that completes the finish. This is a low alcohol grape wine with an ABV of 5%. However, be careful- though one glass may not be enough to make you drunk, if you continue to indulge, you may feel a slight buzz.
Some positives for this wine are it contains no artificial flavors (it is made with real fruit), no added sugars, and no added preservatives. This allows you to truly appreciate what the wine has to offer.
Stella Rosa Black is food friendly. It will complement an array of foods. Try pairing it with cheese, spicy pasta, chocolate covered strawberries and cheesecake. If you like to live on the wild side, pair it with Kettle Style Potato Chips drizzled with bittersweet chocolate or enjoy it with a Meat Lover's Pizza.
You can serve Stella Rosa Black at dinner, have it at brunch and even cookouts. I can assure you no friend of yours will reject the wine if you were to gift it to them either.

Would I recommend this wine? Yes. I have served this wine on several occasions at my home and I have a few on my wine rack as backup. If you are not a sweet wine lover, this may not be your forte. As a matter of fact, most of The Stella Rosa collection bear some level of sweetness. However, do not let that deter you from trying wines from this wine firm. I have tried several and I like the Stella Rosa Red, which I do not find to be as sweet as the Stella Rosa Black.
